Eye exam was performed today, awaiting results. No Morphine was needed overnight. They have prolonged her feeds over an hour and a half to help prevent spit-ups. She has been placed on a sodium supplement. Parker is still on the ventilator with her settings being adjusted, however, the medical team decided to place her on NAVA. This is a mechanical ventilation mode that uses the electrical activity of the diaphragm to help dictate breathing support.
