What are we growing exactly?

Parkers first few hours in the NICU were spent under LED lighting designed to prevent newborn jaundice (phototherapy) and on a specialized ventilator called an oscillator. It kept her lungs inflated while causing a wiggling sensation in her chest with the goal of minimizing lung injury. She was also placed on a feeding tube (orange tube) as well as several IVs. She would start calling a NICU incubator home. This plastic housing has holes for nurses to work on her and for us to touch her.
